My Christmas 2011

The Christmas I was with my family, we celebrate always all assembled in family the night good at our house, as every year.  We ate roast meat, chicken, rice, salads and we drank drinks of fantasy and wine. Of dessert we ate ice cream with sauce of chocolate and after the dinner in the table there were sweets, potato fried, chocolates and more drinks. Also we sing Christmas carols of Christmas and we were grateful the good things of the life. In the Christmas at 12 o’clock we open the gifts with great emotion and happiness.

I received many gifts but that more I like it was that we all were united. My small brother received many toys so all of us play with the toys of my brother It was very entertaining. We play with false pistols at shooting to the tins.  I him give gifts to my family and to my grandparents and friends. Also I received gifts of my friends so it was a beautiful Christmas.

I like the Christmas because it is a pretty day to be in family and to give many love to all for my all the Christmas is magic and very special. 

My Christmas

I remember many Christmas. I like the Christmas. When I was 8 years I writhed to the Santa Claus my letter, the letter tape worm written my desires for the Christmas. This Christmas spends it with my family in this then only were, my dad, my mom, my sister beatriz, I and my brother leonel, but my small brother Nacho even had not born. Always we go to bed in the bed to sleep in the evening not to remain slept in the night but I always was nervous and thrilled because of it I was difficult to me to sleep in the evening. In the night of the 24th  we together to eating. We were supping chicken, meat and salads, we were drinking drink, while we saw the mass or were listening to Christmas carols. The gifts that I received of the Saint Claus were great, for example a wrist barbie, skates and others that I do not remember. In addition they were giving us games that we could use between 3 brothers as consoles. After good Night, in Christmas we were playing and going out to the street or in the courtyard to play with the toys and gifts. I remember that all the children of the neighborhood were going out with his gifts to play, it was very beautiful.!!! 

The feelings

If I had to write hundred or thousand words it would be on the feelings that we experience. There are days bad but not completely bad days because even though we happen for problems always we can smile and enjoy the life. I believe that the important thing is to enjoy what we have and to be grateful because of it, in the life always persons exist with better or worse luck that one itself. Sometimes we cry, in other occasions we laugh, but the feelings are a part of living, and are valuable and magic. Without emotions we would be like robots..

This photo is from about 2010. This photo is my favorite in a gathering the friends because we were every happiness in the Park of the sculptures situated in the Commune the Providencia, city of Santiago, Chile.  Were me, Francisco, Natalia, José, Carolina, Camila, Hans, Rene1 and Rene2 in the photograph. We us meet for play, smile, sing, run, talk and eat in community because we were a groups the friends young s with very energy for to share. This photo represents the friendship of the young persons that we have the children's heart because all of us are very infantile. When we us get together to play always we end up by running, singing and aveces dancing, in this photography we were in a sculpture where nobody is raised, for lucky they did not challenge us the guardians. This day we ate cookies, sweet and we drank juice and drink. 

Santiago. The city that I know well.

The Santiago is a beautiful city. I´ve lived since that was born these. The city of Santiago had an architecture varied because anyone can see that there are different constructions. The architecture that I like is the historical and traditional, for example, the church, the Moneda and houses build in the Colonia.

The people of Santiago are varied because there are people poor and rich. In occasions the people are supportive and kind but there are days in that are grumpy and irritable. The people belong to different races and cultures. And have arrived foreign the outskirts.

The economic activities are the trade, services, for example, in the central market they sell different products that bring the other city as vegetables and fruits.

I liked the Santiago is that can travel for its places. Its transite system is called Transantiago and someone get upset with its operation but I like Santiago.

A special date

hello!

For me a special date is The Merry Christmas because the people give gifts, love and affection, The Christmas is celebrated the 25th december all years. I celebrate and remenber The Christmas because is beautiful see the children happy for receiving gifts. Many children send letters to Sta Claus, they ask for his gifts and desires with much energy and restlessness.

The special things what i do on this date is I and my family place a tree adorned and gifts which are opened at 12  o´clock but before  the  open the gifts we visit to our relatives and we wish them every happiness in it the Christmas.

Anything else I think is important is to place the manger  because represent the the birth of Jesús, so also is do masses  this day. The Christmas is a date to happen in family, to enjoy the dear beings and friends.

My name is Margarita, I´m live in Santiago and study geography in the University of Chile. I´m twenty one years old. I like the romantic music, paint, draw and watch anime. I would like to travel by plane and know new countries.

I like my life!

Men and women

Men and women are very different, arise is because many such as "women are from Mars and men from Venus". Not only physical differences because they also involve different. The women are more emotional and tearful however men are more stronger and have little sensitiveness.

Sometimes speaks of the war of the sexes, the gender differences because falling in machismo and feminism and stereotypes. There are clear visible differences, for example, men are quick to buy clothes, women outnumber the men who do housework, men tend to look at the attractive woman's physical, women are more sensitive and not often as dirty much as men. But today there are fewer and fewer differences are less, men look better even some makeup, and some women are doing jobs that were previously only for men for example mechanics.

For me women and men must be different, for complement, perform the same tasks, it would be very boring a world where we all acted the same, in which all men acted as a mom, it would be crazy.  I really could not develop well as people. Leaving aside the differences between women and men, we must recognize that they cannot live without eacht other.

Christmas: Important Holidays in Chile

Christmas is a very important day for Christians, commemorating the birth of Jesus. But for those who do not believe in Jesus also celebrate because they celebrate the legend of Father Christmas also called Sta. Clous, for others his name is saint Nicolas. The Father Christmas has different names depending on the place but all agree that Christmas is to give love, affection and gifts.

In Chile many people go to church for Christmas, others just celebrate with their family and some go to visit friends and relatives. At Christmas parents often are give gifts to their children saying it is the Father Christmas, so that  toy stores and trade are filled. A day before Christmas some family  gather to eat together on Christmas Eve and wait to 12 o'clock to open the gifts.

 

On Christmas Day children go out to enjoy and play with the toys that father christmas gave them, the streets are filled with joy and the houses to, because for Christmas at home is put the Christmas tree that is full of ornaments it is exciting for everybody to decorate the Christmas tree that also has lights and even music. The Christians  gently place the manger Christmas symbolizes the birth of Jesus.

 

No matter what we celebrate at Christmas it is important that children and many adults get excited, celebrate, get together with loved ones and is a day to deliver and show all the love and affection that we have with the world. It is a good occasion to give gifts and surprises to the beings that we want. It is a day to reflect on our actions and enjoy delivering the best of us, because Christmas is a day full of love  and we should not be like the grinch who hates and wants to ruin Christmas.

 

My experience of the 27F

After the festival of Viña a 27 Febrery 2010.. In the night nothing to presage the tragedy that would happen a many chileans. I was sleeping and woke up because the room began to move, and move and more increasingly strong. I got up and dressed me. I went to the room with my family. And I began to pray under the door, thank god unemployment. I must admit that the noise and the power outage situation was dramatic.

With my family spent a sleepless night and the radius of the cell began to hear that the earthquake came from the south, we worry because my cousin lives in conception, the next day we learned that he was right. Only a few things around the house collapsed, such as furniture, paintings, soft toys, televisions, etc.. Nothing serious compración the death of relatives who suffered some.

On Saturday, returned the light and thereby appreciated the homes in the area dropped or damaged. We were well..

On Sunday the news on t.v. were filled with pain. I went to work at the supermarket and appreciate the desperation of people to buy.

I think the day will remember February 27 all until our last days of life
